Monster High Plot
Clawdeen Wolf is a girl who is part werewolf and part human. She is invited to Monster High, a school for monsters, on her 15th birthday. Her father, Apollo, says she can go as long as she hides her human side. At Monster High, Clawdeen befriends Frankie, who is an intelligent Frankenmonster, and falls in love with Deuce, who is Medusa’s son. She also meets other cool monsters like Draculaura, Cleo, Lagoona, and Ghoulia. The principal asks Clawdeen to represent the students at a special event.
Clawdeen discovers a secret: when she feels strong feelings, she turns into a human, especially when she is around Deuce. Her teacher tells a story about a student who was part monster like her but got into trouble. Clawdeen decides to search for a potion that can turn her into a complete monster.
Frankie discovers Clawdeen’s secret, but instead of getting angry, they help her search for the potion in the school cemetery. They discover that Draculaura practices magic and promises to keep it a secret. They locate the laboratory, but it has a complicated lock.
Clawdeen needs some special things for a spell, like an ogre bone. She gets it from the principal’s cup and almost gets caught by Cleo. But Draculaura uses magic to make Clawdeen look different. They also need snake venom, which Clawdeen gets from Deuce. They begin to trust each other.
They complete the spell, but cannot open the laboratory. They are caught by the headmistress, her teacher, and Cleo, who tells them about Draculaura. The school begins to shake and they realize that there is a fake monster among them. Feeling that he is causing trouble, Clawdeen leaves school. Her friends find her and convince her to return. On Founder’s Day, they discover that Clawdeen’s human hand can open the laboratory. Inside they find the potion. Clawdeen almost drinks it but she stops because she doesn’t want to lose the human side of her.
Their teacher, Mr. Komos, appears and reveals that he is also part human. He drinks the potion and turns into a dangerous monster. He takes on the powers of Draculaura and Deuce. Clawdeen, Frankie and Draculaura ask for help. Komos escapes and turns Deuce into stone. Clawdeen, heartbroken, becomes fully human. She tricks Komos and he too turns to stone. They regain their powers and everyone discovers Clawdeen’s secret.
The next day, Clawdeen’s father comes to pick her up. But the director says that Clawdeen can stay because she has a real monster’s heart. The school changes its rules to accept humans. Clawdeen is the first human student and everyone celebrates him. In a scene after the main story, a witch looks through a crystal ball and plans to bring Draculaura to him.
