Solo Leveling, also known as Only I Level Up, is a South Korean web novel written by Chugong. Serialized on KakaoPage starting in July 2016 and published by D&C Media in November 2016, it follows Sung Jinwoo, an initially weak hunter in a world where supernatural hunters protect humanity from monsters.
After surviving a deadly dungeon, you are chosen by the system, granting you a rare ability to level up and transform defeated enemies into loyal shadows. The adaptation of Jang Sung-rak’s webtoon began in March 2018, concluding its first season in March 2020 and the second in December 2021.
