After the tumultuous cultural festival, Masamune Makabe remains determined on his mission of revenge: to make Aki Adagaki, known as the “Cruel Princess”, fall deeply in love with him only to quickly break her heart.
As his class embarks on a trip to Paris, famous for being nicknamed the City of Love, Masamune sees this as the perfect opportunity to exact revenge for the heartbreak he suffered in childhood.
However, before Masamune can put his plan with Aki into action, fate introduces an unexpected element into the mix: Muriel Besson, a French high school student and devout otaku with aspirations of creating a romantic comedy manga series. Muriel identifies Masamune as the ideal muse for her protagonist and approaches him for help.
Despite his initial misgivings, Masamune agrees to collaborate, enlisting Aki to serve as muse for the love interest character. The twist is that they must convey to Muriel the complexities of love within the Japanese context.
To further complicate matters, Kanetsugu Gasou assumes the identity of Masamune and pretends to be Aki’s childhood friend, employing a deceptive plan to manipulate and exploit her emotions.
