Jason Thomas Mraz is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. He became famous with his first album, “Waiting for My Rocket to Come” in 2002, and the song “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)” reached number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His second album, “Mr. .AZ”, in 2005, reached number five on the Billboard 200.
Their third album, “We sing. We dance. We steal things.” In 2008, it reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 and was certified four times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song “I’m Yours” from this album was a huge hit, spending a record 76 weeks on the Hot 100 and was certified Diamond by the RIAA. The album also included the Grammy Award-winning songs “Make It Mine” and “Lucky,” featuring Colbie Caillat.
Her fourth album, “Love Is a Four Letter Word” in 2012, reached number two on the Billboard 200, and the song “I Won’t Give Up” became her second top ten hit on the Hot 100. She later released albums “Yes!” in 2014 and “Know”. in 2018, both reaching the top ten.
In 2020, he signed a three-album deal with BMG and released “Look for the Good” in 2020 and “Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride” in 2023.
Jason Mraz has won two Grammy Awards and received other honors, including two Teen Choice Awards, a People’s Choice Award, and the Hal David Songwriters Hall of Fame Award. As of July 2014, he has sold over seven million albums and over 11.5 million digital singles.
