Will there be Eternals 2?
So far, Marvel Studios has not said if they will make Eternals 2. People are talking about it, but Marvel has not confirmed anything. Although the acting agency mentioned that Eternals 2 would be planned for December 2022, Marvel has not officially said anything about it.
Marvel is busy with other movies for now. They are working on Phase 5 projects and concluding the Multiverse Saga in Phase 6. Eternals
Eternals is a superhero film released in 2021. It is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and is the 26th film in the series. The film is about a group called the Eternals, who are immortal aliens. They come out of hiding after many years to protect Earth from another group called the Deviants.
The film was directed by Chloé Zhao and stars a great cast including Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh and others. Marvel Studios announced the film in 2018, saying it would explore the Eternals throughout history. Zhao had a lot of freedom to change the script and make the film his own.
Filming took place from 2019 to 2020 in England and the Canary Islands. “Eternals” premiered in October 2021 and was released in November of the same year. It made a lot of money at the box office, but not all reviews were good. Some people liked the film’s themes and visuals, but others didn’t think it was as good as other Marvel films.
Plot of the Eternals
In the year 5000 BC, ten super-powered beings called Eternals were sent to Earth by a powerful being called Arishem. They are supposed to take down evil creatures called Deviants. They finish this work in 1521, but then cannot agree on what to do next. For the next 500 years they live apart, awaiting Arishem’s orders.
In modern times, two Eternals, Sersi and Sprite, live in London with a human named Dane. When they are attacked by a Deviant named Kro, another Eternal named Ikaris saves them. They find their leader, Ajak, dead and Sersi becomes the new leader.
Sersi discovers that his true mission was to prepare the Earth for the birth of a new Celestial, who will destroy the planet. They try to stop this by gathering and fighting the Deviants. They plan to put the Celestial to sleep, but Ikaris, loyal to Arishem, does not help.
They find the place where the Celestial will emerge and try to stop it. They achieve this with the power of Sersi, turning the Celestial into marble. Ikaris feels guilty and flies towards the sun. Some of the Eternals leave Earth to warn others about the birth of the Celestial. Meanwhile, Arishem takes Sersi, Dane, and Kingo to space to stand trial. In a mid-credits scene, some Eternals meet a new character. In a post-credits scene, someone asks if Dane is ready for a special sword.

The Eternals Release Date
Eternals was first screened at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on October 18, 2021, and then screened at the Rome Film Festival on October 24. It was released in theaters in Europe on November 3 and in the United States. and the United Kingdom on November 5, in formats such as RealD 3D and 4DX.
Disney announced that the film would only be in theaters for at least 45 days before becoming available elsewhere. Eternals was originally supposed to come out on November 6, 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release was delayed to February 12, 2021, and finally to November 2021.
