Demeter’s Last Voyage Release Date
“Demeter’s Last Voyage” made its US theatrical debut on August 11, 2023, distributed by Universal Pictures. The release date of the film had undergone a change as it was initially scheduled for January 27, 2023, but was later rescheduled.
Following its theatrical release, the film was made available in digital formats on August 29, allowing audiences to enjoy the horror and suspense of Demeter’s ill-fated voyage from the comfort of their own homes.
In terms of box office performance, as of September 2, 2023, “The Last Voyage of Demeter” has grossed $13.6 million in the United States and Canada, with an additional $6.3 million in other territories, giving as a result a world total of 19.9 million dollars. During its opening weekend, the film was projected to earn between $6 and $11 million from 2,715 theaters.
It grossed $2.6 million on its first day, which included $750,000 from Thursday night previews. Ultimately, the film debuted with a total of $6.5 million, securing the fifth position at the box office. However, it experienced a significant drop of 62% in its second weekend, earning $2.5 million and falling to tenth position.
