Will there be season 5 of The Family Business?
As of November 3, BET has not given an official confirmation for a fifth season of the crime drama series.
However, it seems that they have already decided to make more episodes of the show based on what the person who made the show said on their Facebook. On October 24, Carl Weber talked about what’s happening with the future of “The Family Business” on his Facebook page. He said that when the people writing the story and the actors acting in it stopped working, they had already done about 40% of the work for season 5 of “The Family Business.” So, this means that they are planning to make a fifth season. Weber also said that once the actors start working again, they will be able to finish the new season.

The story is about the Duncans, a famous family that owns a fancy car shop in New York called Duncan Motors. During the day, they act like a normal, respectable family running their business. But at night they have a secret and dangerous life.
At first, they planned to make “The Family Business” as a set of independent films. But then BET turned it into a short eight-episode series in 2018. The first episode aired on November 13, 2018. Now, starting October 2023, you can watch the series on Netflix.
