David Schwimmer is an American actor, director and producer. He is best known for his role as Ross Geller on the NBC sitcom Friends, which aired from 1994 to 2004. Schwimmer received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance on Friends. .
