  • Born March 15, 2003 in San Antonio, Quinn Ewers spent his formative years in Southlake, Texas, and attended Carroll High School. Under the direction of coach Riley Dodge, he excelled not only in football, but previously also demonstrated his abilities in baseball. Ewers demonstrated his skill early on, when he was in sixth grade, and received a notable football scholarship offer from Graham Harrell.
  • During his sophomore year, Ewers displayed exceptional skills, completing 291 of 402 passes for 3,998 yards, securing 45 touchdowns with only three interceptions. His performance was instrumental in leading Southlake Carroll to the Texas 6A Division I quarterfinals, although they were ultimately upset by Duncanville.
  • Despite facing an injury that sidelined him for six games during his junior season, Ewers managed to total 2,442 yards and 28 touchdown passes in eight games. Southlake Carroll advanced to the Division I 6A Texas State Championship Game, but fell short against Westlake High School.
  • His talent was further recognized when he participated in the 2021 Elite 11 competition, where he placed sixth despite strong competition.
  • Heading into his senior year, Ewers was hailed as the top recruit in the 2022 class by several outlets. Initially committed to the University of Texas, he would later change course and retire from the Longhorns in October before announcing his commitment to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes in November 2020.
