Who is Suguru Geto?

In the main series, his body is controlled by Kenjaku, an ancient sorcerer who aims to evolve humanity through Cursed Energy into a new golden age of Jujutsu sorcery. The character was inspired by YuYu Hakusho’s Shinobu Sensui, exploring prejudice. Kenjaku’s influence is based on Orochimaru from Naruto, both are immortal sorcerers who use vessels.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2

Jujutsu Kaisen, an anime based on the manga by Gege Akutami, announced its series adaptation in November 2019. A second season was revealed on February 12, 2022, with Shōta Goshozono taking over as series director. The season, which will air from July 6 to December 28, 2023, covers the manga’s “Hidden Inventory/Untimely Death” and “Shibuya Incident” story arcs.

“Hidden Inventory” acts as a prequel, exploring Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s past at Jujutsu High, revealing how they became adversaries. The “Shibuya Incident” takes place in the present and portrays an intense battle between Sorcerers and Cursors in Shibuya on Halloween.

The first five episodes feature “Where Our Blue Is” by Tatsuya Kitani as the opening theme and “Light” by Soushi Sakiyama as the ending theme. Starting from the sixth episode, King Gnu performs “Specialz” as the opening and Hitsujibungaku performs “More Than Words” as the ending. Crunchyroll has the streaming license outside of Asia, with English dubbing available from July 20, 2023.
