UBA’s current struggle to avoid bankruptcy and remain relevant echoes themes from previous seasons. The show’s narrative stability may only return when the UBA gets its act together. Until then, viewers could find themselves watching episodes lacking cohesion, leaving them in a state of uncertainty.
Overall, the new episode attempts to depict the UBA’s struggle, but fails to save the show from falling into absurdity. The once-charming backdrop of the newsroom has lost its appeal, and the behind-the-scenes chaos seems somewhat superficial. The characters go from being tense in one episode to being perfectly fine in the next, as if the system had never been hacked, leaving the audience baffled.
