The crown season 6
“The Crown tells fictional stories about the British royal family, starting with Queen Elizabeth in the 1950s. It covers big moments like the Kennedy visits and Margaret Thatcher becoming Prime Minister. Season 6 begins in the late 1950s. 1990 with the sad death of Princess Diana and ends in the early 2000s, when Prince William begins dating Kate Middleton at the University of St. Andrews.
Although the show is set in the 21st century, there will be flashbacks, especially of Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret. But it is confirmed that the last season will not arrive until today. Netflix teased season 6, showed off footage, and dropped a big hint: it will feature the royal wedding between Prince Charles (now King Charles III) and Camilla Parker-Bowles (Queen Consort). “The final season of The Crown, about Queen Elizabeth II’s life, will arrive in two parts on Netflix. The first four episodes will premiere on November 16, 2023 and the last six on December 14, 2023. This season is special because “It is the only one carried out after the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8, 2022.”
The Crown season 6 episode 2 ending explained
In the new episodes of The Crown, we see the youngest members of London’s royals dealing with the world. During Diana’s funeral, her grandfather tells William to concentrate on walking and not look at the crowd. When William asks why people cry for someone they don’t know, Philip reminds him that they don’t cry for her; They are crying for him. It is a harsh but necessary lesson about the future crown that William will wear.
The most emotional moment of this part of the season occurs at the end of an episode. Elizabeth sits down to pray and for a moment imagines someone in the room with her. When she publicly acknowledges the loss of Diana and the qualities that drew her into the world, it feels like a form of penance to her. But as she looks around the room, one wonders if she was hoping to see Diana’s ghost one last time.
The show doesn’t delve too deeply into an overly sentimental tribute to Princess Diana, staying true to its fictional storytelling style. While previous seasons maintained a sense of ambiguity like the silence of the actual Royal Family, as the show gets closer to current events, the gap between fiction and reality becomes more noticeable. This raises the question: What is the fundamental relevance of the program?
Maybe we’ll find the answer as the season progresses because, for now, it’s a challenge to figure it out.
