Home of Rugby League Awards Night 2023
The 2023 Rugby League Awards Night will take place at The Point at Emirates Old Trafford. It’s Tuesday 10 October and the start of a big week in rugby league, with three Grand Finals at the end of the week.
The Betfred Super League title match will be at Old Trafford on Saturday 14 October. There will also be a double-header on Sunday 15 October, featuring the Betfred Championship Grand Final and the Betfred Wheelchair Super League Grand Final. People can watch it live on television and more information on how to watch will be available later.

These awards recognize outstanding players, coaches and contributions to rugby league.
Betfred Super League
The Betfred Super League is the highest level of rugby league in the United Kingdom. It includes twelve teams, eleven of them based in the north of England and one in the south of France. This league, which began in 1996, replaced the First Division and went from a winter to a summer season. The regular season runs from February to September and each team plays 27 games.
The top six teams then compete in the playoffs, leading to the Grand Final to determine the champions, while the lowest ranked team is relegated to the Championship. The Super League champions also face the Australian National Rugby League champions in the World Club Challenge. Over the years, twenty-four clubs have competed, with St Helens, Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors and Bradford Bulls being the top title winners.
RFL Wheelchair Super League
The RFL Wheelchair Super League is the premier wheelchair rugby league competition in England and Wales. Established in 2019, it formalized the wheelchair competition that was already taking place in Great Britain.
It includes six teams and operates a promotion and relegation system with the second-tier RFL Wheelchair Championship. The most recent champion is the Halifax Panthers, who have won the title twice. The league is an important platform for wheelchair rugby league in the region, offering competitive opportunities for players and teams.
