Rhett James McLaughlin and Charles Lincoln “Link” Neal, known as Rhett & Link, are a popular American comedy duo. Rhett James McLaughlin and Charles Lincoln “Link” Neal, known collectively as Rhett & Link, shared a long-standing friendship that began in first grade at Buies Creek Elementary School in North Carolina in 1984. They were both members of a Christian punk rock band called “The Wax Paper Dogz” during their teens.
After beginning college at North Carolina State University in 1996, Rhett and Link earned engineering degrees, with Rhett graduating magna cum laude in 2000 and Link graduating summa cum laude in 2001. Despite briefly working at their respective engineering fields, switched to full-time. entertainment, inspired by his experiences with a religious organization called Cru.
