Machine Head is a heavy metal band from California, formed in 1991 by singer and guitarist Robb Flynn, who is the only remaining original member. They are known for their aggressive and heavy music, and played an important role in the new wave of American heavy metal.

Over the years, the band has gone through several lineup changes and their musical style has evolved from groove metal to thrash metal and nu metal, garnering critical acclaim and commercial success with albums such as “The Blackening” and “Bloodstone.” & Diamonds”. They also faced controversies, but managed to maintain their presence in the metal music scene.

Starting with their most recent release in 2022, “Of Kingdom and Crown,” Machine Head continues to explore their metal roots and their history includes experimentation with various subgenres.
