Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is an upcoming action-adventure film set in a post-apocalyptic world. It is directed by George Miller and serves as a spin-off and prequel to the film Mad Max: Fury Road, part of the Mad Max franchise. The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy as the main character, Imperator Furiosa, along with Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne and Tom Burke in supporting roles.
The casting process began in March 2020, and in October of the same year, Taylor-Joy, Hemsworth and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II were selected for the lead roles. However, due to scheduling conflicts, Burke replaced Abdul-Mateen in November. Some of the Fury Road team members returned for Furiosa, including screenwriter Nico Lathouris, film editor Margaret Sixel, costume designer Jenny Beavan, and composer Tom Holkenborg. The film was filmed in Australia from June to October 2022.

Furious Plot
In a world descending into chaos, the story unfolds with young Furiosa forcibly removed from her sanctuary, the Green Place of Many Mothers, and thrown into the clutches of a menacing Biker Horde commanded by the formidable Lord of the Dementus War. Amid the power struggle between two tyrants vying for control of the Citadel, Furiosa faces numerous trials on her arduous journey. Undeterred, she meticulously crafts a plan to navigate the treacherous Wasteland and find her way back home.
