The Bukis
Los Bukis, which means children in the Yaqui language, is a Mexican band that plays group music. They started in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán, in 1973. The band today includes Marco Antonio Solís, who sings and writes songs, Joel Solís on guitar, José Javier Solís playing the conga, Pedro Sánchez on drums, Roberto Guadarrama on trumpet, José “Pepe” Guadarrama on saxophone and keyboards, and Eusebio “El Chivo” Cortéz on bass.
