General Hospital
General Hospital, often called GH, is a long-running American television show. It is a soap opera that has been on television for a long time. In fact, it is in the Guinness Book of Records as the second longest-running soap opera in American history. It began in 1963 on ABC and is set in a fictional town called Port Charles, New York. The show has won many awards and is famous for its interesting stories, especially those about the Quartermaine and Spencer families.
One of its most famous moments was Luke and Laura’s wedding in 1981, which had a large audience. General Hospital has also featured famous guest stars such as Elizabeth Taylor and James Franco. It is a program with a lot of history and is still on the air today, making it the oldest American soap opera. It celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013 and reached its 15,000th episode in 2022.
