The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, scheduled for January 15, 2024, will celebrate excellence in American prime time television from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023. Initially slated for September 2023, the ceremony was postponed due to Hollywood labor disputes. Nominations, unveiled on July 12, 2023, highlighted “Succession” with 27 nods, including a groundbreaking three nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

“The Last of Us” made history as the first live-action video game adaptation nominated in major Emmy categories. Significant individual achievements include Paris Barclay’s historic nomination and Jenna Ortega becoming the second-youngest nominee for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

HBO and Max dominated with 127 nominations, marking the first instance of a network securing four Outstanding Drama Series nominations since NBC in 1992. Amazon Freevee and Tubi received their inaugural Emmy nominations for “Jury Duty” and “The Nevers,” respectively.
