Dancing with the Stars Week 8 Elimination

In week 8 of “Dancing with the Stars,” the contestants danced to Whitney Houston songs. Unfortunately, Barry Williams and his partner Peta Murgatroyd were eliminated. Although they performed a rumba to “Did’t We Almost Have It All”, the judges’ scores combined with viewers’ votes led to their exit from the competition. Despite winning a dance and earning extra points, it wasn’t enough to keep them in the running for the Mirrorball Trophy. The elimination marked the end of his run on the show.

The highest-scoring couple of the week was Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, who danced a pasodoble to “Queen of the Night” and earned a total score of 42/43 with bonus points. Elsewhere, Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold earned the lowest scores of the night with 28/40 for their Viennese waltz “I Have Nothing.” The remaining contestants are preparing for the next theme, “A Celebration of Taylor Swift,” where they will dance to songs from Swift’s discography next week.
