Charles Otto Puth Jr. is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He gained fame when videos of his songs became popular on YouTube. In 2011, he signed with the eleveneleven record label after performing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He also worked on songs for other artists.
Puth later joined Atlantic Records and Artist Partner Group. He released his first single, “Marvin Gaye” (featuring Meghan Trainor), in 2015. Charlie Puth’s career
From 2009 to 2014, Charlie Puth began his career by creating a YouTube channel called “Charlies Vlogs”, where he posted comedy videos and acoustic covers. In 2010, he released his first song, “These Are My Sexy Shades”, and in December 2010, he independently released his debut EP titled “The Otto Tunes”. In 2011, he gained recognition by winning an online video contest with a performance of Adele’s “Someone like You” performed with Emily Luther. Ellen DeGeneres signed Puth and Luther to her label, onceeleven, that same year.

He gained immense popularity when he collaborated with Wiz Khalifa on “See You Again”, a tribute to Paul Walker included on the Furious 7 soundtrack, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks.
