The CAF Awards are a special event where the best African footballers are recognized. This event is organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). This has been happening since 2000. However, the 2020 and 2021 awards could not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2022, the CAF Awards ceremony was held in Rabat, Morocco. The next edition of the awards was scheduled to be held in Marrakech, Morocco.
