Brooks and Dunn
Brooks & Dunn is a famous American country music duo consisting of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn. They began working together in 1990, following the suggestion of composer and record producer Tim DuBois. Before teaming up, both Brooks and Dunn had solo careers in the 1980s, each with two solo singles on the charts. Brooks even released an album in 1989 and wrote hit songs for other artists.
Once they joined forces, they signed with Arista Nashville and achieved great success. They recorded numerous albums and singles, and even won several awards, including the Country Music Association’s Vocal Duo of the Year from 1992 to 2006.
