As his plane lands, Prince deliberately sets up a public display, escorting Liu to Chuck while he pretends not to know that the plane was chartered without his knowledge.
He publicly thanks Chuck for bringing this matter to his attention, thus controlling the narrative and trying to deflect any negative press. Chuck, in a conversation with Ira, emphasizes the difficulty of running a presidential campaign while constantly looking over one’s shoulder, implying that Prince will now have to operate in a similar fashion.
Prince takes additional steps to bolster his public image by funding relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Rosie through the Indiana National Guard. However, his advisor Luke highlights the need for Prince to anticipate and respond even more quickly to disasters like hurricanes to maintain his image as a responsible leader.

Chuck, fulfilling his promise regarding the Super PAC, decides to take advantage of this opportunity by planning to frame Liu Jr. for crypto fraud and Prince for aiding a fugitive.
The day begins for Mike Prince with an unexpected comment from Bradford Luke, who believes that most Americans are not willing to identify with a classical music connoisseur like Prince. He suggests that Prince should reconsider allowing Scooter to conduct the Philharmonic Orchestra, as he could alienate potential voters.
However, Prince, supported by Wendy, strongly rejects this idea. Wendy reminds Luke that Prince embodies change, challenging conventional perceptions about the qualities a “leader of the free world” should possess. This exchange leads to an entertaining and somewhat flirtatious banter between Wendy and Luke, who discuss the merits and demerits of trying to control Prince’s unique qualities.
Meanwhile, on the trading floor, traders are absorbed in tracking an approaching hurricane, even placing bets on its name and category. Victor wins the bet and the hurricane is named Hurricane Rosie. However, Taylor and Philip stop their celebrations by warning that if it becomes a Category 5 hurricane, Prince’s legal claims could skyrocket. Fortunately, the hurricane stabilized at category 4.
Taylor and Philip soon realize, and Wags makes no secret of his involvement, that Wags had bribed a scientist responsible for hurricane categorization, promising him a large research grant. However, Wags’ triumph is short-lived when Prince calls him into his office.
Prince realizes that an arrest warrant for Liu Jr.’s chartered plane was unexpected, and decides to keep the plane in the air while sending Kate Sacker to negotiate with Chuck on his behalf. The hurricane incident casts a negative light on Prince, as he appears to have benefited while numerous homes were destroyed. Wendy convinces Wags to take responsibility for his actions, saving him from being fired, while Prince acknowledges that Wags couldn’t help it.
The personal subplots develop at the same time. Wendy’s therapy sessions with Dr. Meyer come to an abrupt end when Wendy reveals her true intentions to undermine Mike Prince from within, causing collateral damage to Meyer’s clients. Wendy decides to end her sessions, but Meyer refers her clients to Michael Prince Capital to help Wendy in her “war.” This development raises questions about the simplicity of the deal.
On the other hand, Scooter’s opportunity to conduct again for the orchestra is of immense importance. Scooter’s nephew Philip openly expresses his pride and invites the entire family to celebrate this momentous occasion and witness Scooter fulfill his ambition.
