Destiny’s life takes a turn when a compassionate Holy Knight named Roxy comes to his aid and strives not to obstruct his efforts.
One fateful day, Fate stumbles upon a group of thieves and quickly alerts Roxy. While standing guard, a wounded thief approaches him, causing Fate to muster his courage and engage in combat, successfully subduing the intruder. Unexpectedly, his “Gluttony” ability activates, granting him all the stats and abilities the defeated thief possesses, revealing the potential of this new power.
Impressed by Fate’s bravery in stopping the thief, Roxy offers him to join the Hart family. Accepting her proposal, Fate embarks on a quest to obtain a weapon. However, her limited funds lead her to initially consider a scrap sword. With the help of his skills, Fate identifies the best sword on the market, and this unique sword communicates with him, urging him to make the purchase.
Fate agrees and, along with his new talking sword companion, begins training in the field. Here, Fate’s skills and stats increase, as each enemy she defeats grants her additional skill points. His sword, called Greed, assures Fate that he will always be at his side, easing his sense of loneliness. His journey takes them to an abandoned area where Fate intends to rescue a young woman from an abusive situation.
